our Young Warrior

Here is our little man Will at his first wrestling "dual match" last week. It was just between our club and the other one in the area. In the bottom picture, the referee is actually our Pastor/Coach Greg. Soon after we started going to Cornerstone we found out that there was a good-size group of guys that wrestled in college and they put together the Young Warriors Wrestling Association. There are all kinds of neat things that go on and Will is having a blast learning to wrestle! His Uncle Stan and Aunt Carol and cousin Pete are pretty excited he is carrying on a family sport. Tomorrow is our first actual day at a match and a coach from UVA is going to do a clinic for the boys beforehand so it should be lots of fun. The cooler is packed and so are the games - stay tuned for more pictures !! I am off now to get to bed at a reasonable time . . . . we have to leave the house at 6am to have weigh-in at 7am. Caleb is leaving in a couple of hours to work all night - ugh! - that is dedication :)
