The kiddos and such

What can I say? They were running out of places to hide so Daddy came up with this one.
On a similar tone of my other posts here are a few comments from Heather and Will today:
Heather today while doing school (this is specifically for Uncle George) -
"How do you spell "win"?
I said like "win a race?"
"no"
"ohh like wind on a windy day?"
"no"
"then what are you talking about?"
"win do we git there?"
That's my southern girl for you :)
Will (this is for Uncle Chris) -
As I am on my way out the door today Will calls to me from across the yard "Mommy can you get Daddy?" I said "He is busy, what do you need?" "I neeeed goss tees - I need to pwactice my goss". When I got the ones I knew how to find he said "yesterday they were bwack but these be ok"
Other than kid stuff we have been working, warming up after a very cold spell, and cleaning up truck loads of branches that fell down in a recent ice storm. We have recently been enjoying the various historical "house" series put together by PBS - yippee library. So far we have seen Manor House and Pioneer House. They are quite educational and nice for me since they inspire Heather to dress up and be a "maid". Will seems to have the skill of making a toy gun out of any other toys - legos, tinkertoys, duplos or k'nex are popular choices right now. We have (sort of) nurtured the intrepid Amish Cinnamon Bread mix on the counter and baked two loaves today.
I guess I better go see why I heard a crash and my oldest came to me saying "Where is the super glue :/ . . . . "
